I spoke with Craig at 4pm to explain that my boiler engineer had smelled gas at my rented property but couldn’t find the leak. Craig said that he could arrive at my rented property after his last call to determine where the leak was coming from. Homeserve had already passed a gas safety check at the property days earlier. The leak was found around the gas meter and Craig contacted “Cadent” the distributor of the gas. The leak was secured and Craig did further checks before confirming that the supply was safe to use. We are dedicated to the safety of your home. As well as having 14 years of plumbing experience behind us, we are members of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) who ensure plumbers are working to the very highest professional standards.

We are accredited with Vaillant, Worcester and Baxi boilers, but service boilers of all kinds and brands.

We have received qualification in Part L of the Building Regulations (Energy Efficiency) and, as such, are happy and able to work with renewable energy sources.

What is Boiler and Central Heating Cover and why do I need it?

With Highfield Plumbing and Heating Care Plan cover, you can have true peace of mind, knowing that if there is any problem with your heating or hot water, we’ll be ready and on hand to support you when you need. Unlike many other home care providers, with Highfield Plumbing and Heating there is no excess payable!

When will I have a Boiler Service?

Your boiler service will be annual. You will receive a notification to let you know when it’s due and we’ll book you in right away.

When does my Care Plan start?

It starts on the day your application is accepted and processed. Your monthly subscription will be set up through GoCardless. There is an initial 14-day time period from the start of your contract where a repair request cannot be made i.e. in the case of pre-existing problems.

Who can buy this cover?

Care Plans are available based on the following eligibility criteria:


  • Homeowners and landlords

  • All residential properties

  • Natural gas and LPG installation

What do the Care Plans include?

Our packages include cover for us to carry out your annual boiler service as a basic yearly cover through to our advanced packages which includes repairs to your boiler, full central heating system including gas pipes and plumbing pipework. Please see details of our full packages for what is included and what is not included.

Does the Care Plan include breakdown assistance?

We will provide a direct number to a technical engineer. We can then advise you in relation to any aspect of plumbing and heating including topping up boiler pressure, adjusting your heating controller or programmer and bleeding your radiator.

How long is the agreement?

12 months, Auto Renews unless you decide to cancel

How do I sign up?

Simply click on the button to get started, fill out your details and select the Homecare plan you would like to sign up to. You will then be redirected to a GoCardless page to process your payment details.

What happens after I sign up?

After your payment has been processed you will receive a welcome email which will include our full terms and conditions. A member of our team will contact you to arrange for Craig or a technical engineer to survey and service the boiler and provide you with your welcome pack which will include full details of the package you have chosen.
